Our 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan will not stay aligned. We have had it lined up by 2 different places in the last year, and it still pulls to the right. Our front tires are being ruined(severe wear) along the outside edge. When we start to accelerate over 100km/hr when can smell the tires getting hot, the smell doesn't last long, just when we start to accelerate.
We've been told by one garage that the rack and pinion steering needs to be replaced and will fix all our problems. Another garage says that is not the problem. Any ideas?
