Noises problem
2002 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 60000 miles
I have a whining noise that sounnds a lot like a vacumn leak but is not. It comes from the fuel pump on top of the gas tank. Started about 2 weeks ago at 60,000 miles. Car runs fine (no problems on acceleration, stalling, starting, etc. Is this a serious warning on fuel pump failure or just an annoying glitch?....Thank you....Bob

Its coming from the fuel pump module beneath it is the fuel pressure regulator. I strongly recommend you check the fuel pressure and inspect the module
