2000 Dodge Caravan - Timing Belt or Timing Chain 60k miles
I'd like to know if my vehicle has a timing belt or a timing chain. One local dealer advised me it has a belt which needs to be changed every 60,000 miles or 100,000 km and another dealer indicated it has a chain.
Can you advise which is actually the case, and what the correct frequency of repair is for this component?
Thanks,
Dileas

when posting always tell us what engine you have. if it's a 3.3 or 3.8 it's a chrysler and has a timing chain. if it's a 3.0 or a four cylinder it's a mitsu and has a timing belt.

Hi,
Of course I should have included this information, sorry about that.
The engine is a 3.3 L
