1997 Dodge Caravan transmission whinning and not engaging
Transmission problem
1997 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 138000 miles
our minivan is having issues, transmission will not engage until car is warmed all the way up, i mean no forward or reverse until is warmed up inbetween Cold and Hold Dead in the middle is where gauge has to get before engages..
also when driving and giving gas, does alot of whinning as if not catching and just slipping, and when stop and hit gas to start driving again will sit there and jump hard before engaging.
any clues as to what to do or advise on how to get this cleared up, want to make sure might not be something other than tranny being going out.. PLEASE HELP.
