1997 Dodge Caravan Oil Leak
Smells problem

How much Would it cost to replace the seals on the oil pan on a 1997 dodge caravan?and What would cause you to smell oil on the inside of the car when you have the defogger on?

If your just replacing the oil pan gasket, a 3,0L is a 1.3 hour job and the rest are about an hour. Plus the gasket, an oil filter and oil for parts. An oil leak always blows back against the exhaust as you drive down the road, that may be the smell. So you need to call around to find as local hourly labor price, ok. I think an hour and a half is more like it. But thats book times.
