Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1994 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 169k miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 94 Dodge Caravan with 169k miles. The front-left drive-axle has been replaced 3 times in two months, because the inner CV joint is pulling apart. I have since found that the transmission mount is worn completely down about 2” to the metal bracket. It is attached directly above the CV joint that is pulling apart. Can this cause the inner CV joint to pull apart? Is there any engine alignment procedure after replacing transmission/motor mounts? Is there any other worn components that may be putting stress on the axle joint? Such as: control arm bushing, pitman arm, strut/tower, ball joints, tie rod, etc.
