1991 Dodge Caravan Repair Question

1991 Dodge Caravan smokeing , with a burn rubber smell
when i get to about 50 mph on the highway it start smoking and has this burn rubber smell not sure that to do , i have to pull over and by that time the radiator is like overheated . what is my problem or could possible be my problem.
