My car has an off and on problem that is getting worse. When running it runs great. While driving even on the highway the car stalls...when it does stall it wont start again until after it sits for a while (more than an hour) We hooked a scanner up and all it said was egr valve (though we knew it wasnt the reason we fixed it) The we checked the fuses and engine compression both good as ever, checked the ignition system for any defects or moisture and nothing. When trying to start the car after it stalls, it tries really hard like it has plenty of power but nothing...its got power and a good spark I just dont know what it wrong with it...Please help me figure out what is wrong!!!!

It is your crankshaft precision sensor! I have a 1996 Dodge Avenger ES and mine also was doing that and my friend told me it was that sensor so I changed it and it does not do that any more! hope you get it fixed they are great cars !!!!
