1988 Dodge Aries battery dead
Electrical problem
1988 Dodge Aries 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
Hi,
About 4-6 weeks ago my dome light died. I replaced the light bulb, to no effect. About 3 weeks ago my the power to my radio/stereo died. Checked fuses under steering and the fuses look good. Now my battery died and I can't seem to get it started. It is a new battery, only a couple months old. There is often a high pitched squeal for first 20 or 30 seconds after I first start he car.
Do I have to replace alternator? Belt? Do something else???
Thanks,
Lorne
