Deisel injectors

I recently purchased a vectra estate sri cdti 150 The engine management light came on so I took it to a deisel specialist and have been informed the injectors are blowing. What does this mean and how can it be repaired.

I think he means leaking but ask him the repair may mean replacement. We have no info on this car

It is not a bad idea to read the codes from the ECU yourself, about the most common reason for EML is EGR, these are easy to clean out yourself.
Amazon sells a bluetooth OBD interface, this plugs in under the ashtray in the centre console. Easy then to use an Android phone or tablet with the "Torque" app or similar to read the codes etc.
Failing that a Vauxhall dealer can read the codes for you. These cars are known for all sorts of wierd issues but injector failure is not really one of them.
