2000 Other Daihatsu Models Motor damage
Engine Performance problem
2000 Other Daihatsu Models Manual 140770 miles
I got a new warrant of fitness from VTNZ after changing the exhaust pipe from Mufflers. Next day I went for a long drive around 75 kms + 75 Kms (up and down, together around 150 Kms), I found my car shaking when I got home. I went to a mechanic and said that my motor or engine has no compressor from the middle chamber out of 3 chambers of my car. They checked my head of the engine and said that it will cost more than 800 bux to recondition it. Now, my question is : is that possible that the Mufflers who changed my exhaust pipe may damage the motor or due to the unprofessional handling of the worker can damage my motor? Or is this a co-incidence that next day I repaired it from Mufflers, ,my engine went off or damaged ? Secondly, the person from whom I purchased my car knew that the engine will go off after some time because I never ran a long drive like that and I only ran around 3000 kms since I purchase ?
