1997 Daihatsu Charade Radiator empty, but overflow tank is
Engine Cooling problem
1997 Daihatsu Charade 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 194000 miles
A few months ago my engine started overheating. The mechanic said the fan wasn't cutting in, so the fan switch was replaced and this fixed the problem. About a week ago, the car began to overheat again. The mechanic replaced the thermostat, the radiator cap, and flushed/cleaned the radiator. The car ran fine for the last week, but today it began to overheat again and the oil light was flickering on and off. I added about 1L of oil to the engine, but the oil light is still flickering at times and the engine gets hot. When I got home and the engine cooled, I checked that radiator, and it appears empty, but the overflow tank is filled to the brim... What can I do?
