1997 Daewoo Lanos wont start

i have a 1997 daewoo lanos1.5l single over head cam and broke the timing belt then the engine stalled so i replaced belt and set the timing marks. every thing was correct when set the crankshaft was top dead centre and the 1 cyclinder valves was shut and it has fuel,spark,compression it will turn over to try to start but wont fire .the timing has been checked with timing light and its in time any help will be appreciated
