I popped a check engine code about a week ago and haven't had the chance to check it. My car has sounded like it was backfiring and it would sputter under load. 2 nights ago the engine would crank but would not start, I got it started yesterday only to discover when I apply the throttle the engine sputters and dies. In the last 3 months I have had a whole new timing kit to include water pump installed and fear that the shop did shoddy work. If you could help narrow down the issue it would be a great help!

I had my father, who is a tech, look at it with me yesterday and he believes I got a hold of some bad fuel with water in it. We pulled the codes, p0301-0303. Misfires Cylnders 1, 2, And 3, changed plugs and wires. I don't have a fuel pressure test kit. After plug and wire change car performs a little better, still is weak under load. Put fuel injector cleaner and 91 octane in an attempt to clean the injectors. Any further help is much appreciated!
