1998 Other Citroen Models rattling noise when foot is down
Transmission problem
1998 Other Citroen Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 92000 miles
Everytime i put my foot on the clutch to put my car in gear, there is a loud rattling noise which sounds as if its coming from my exhaust. When i put my foot on the accelorator and find the bite in the clutch the noise quietens and eventually stops until i change gear again. When my car has been driving for around ten minutes the noise isnt really noticable as it sometimes stops. Could you please tell me what you think this could be?? The clutch or the exhaust?? Thankyou.

the clutch bearing or springs are getting worn and need replacing !
