1997 Other Citroen Models Window winder handle removal

1997 Other Citroen Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 97000 miles
How do I remove the window winder handle?
I need to get the door panel off to refit the window glass into the runner. I have got everything else off apart from the window winder (crank) handle.
Any ideas?

there is a metal spring clip at the rear of the winder that you need to spring off !!
