OBD check engine light
I have a 2001 Dodge Caravan and the OBD light came on about 1 month ago. I had it in the shop for a brake job(the 3rd in 2 years!) and had them check for the fault code the repairman said he was getting a 'loss of power" code but got an error every time he tried to reset it. He said that that is usually an indication that the computer is going bad. Does that sound right? I did the key thingy and got the code p1684 battery disconnect. Now my heater has stopped blowing hot air only cold. The van drives normally except for some hesitation at low to idle speeds. Any thoughts?
