every once in awhile the van will shut off when you come to a stop or take off. when it shuts off the oil light comes, and it will usually comes back on when you restart it. but sometimes it takes a few tries especially if you are sitting on a incline. it also happens mostly when it is cold outside.

If the check engine light has never come on, check fuel pump pressure. The pump could be getting weak.

Here is a How To video you can view for directions. Also, the gauge can be rented at many parts stores. If you can't find one, they sell them at the test equipment store site on this page.
