Chrysler 2005 town & country minivan, 36k mi. V6 3.3L. I recently took our van in for a 30k checkup. They said the throttle body linkage had carbon build-up and needed cleaned. Here's my question? When they disassembled the linkage, if they did not properly re-install it could this effect the gas mileage I'm getting. It seems I'm getting worse gas mileage now than before the service. My driving habits and routes have not changed. Please advise.

The linkage is not disconnected:

The service writer may not understand what is being done.
What may have not been put back together right is the air snorkel or somthing involved with getting to the throttle body.
