I have a 1999 chrysler town and country. It does have several miles however I have read reveiws of this happening to some with very little miles. The van will start then stall out almost immediatly it will do this about 3 times then it will do nothing not even turn over if I wait a few hours it's like it fixes it self I have taken to garages and they can never seem to find anything wrong with it because it's running at this point. The last time this happen it took 2 days to start I called the garage to have them come tow it and when they got here it stared. It's getting slightly frustrating that it happens so randomly with no explaination. If you have any ideas please e-mail me at wtddaalw@yahoo. Com THANK YOU for your time.

My 99 chrysler does the same thing, but the past 2 weeks it been taking days to reset itself and start up again, so I have to bring it in today and they're going to try to look at it on friday, but one mechanic I spoke with thinks it is the crank sensor. Will let you know if I get it fixed. Waynehayes12@hotmail. Com

I just had a mechanic here who tells me it is one of the fallowing either a crank sensor which averages about $60. Then there is the ECU wiring harness this is the wiring that comings out of the brain. And averages about $700. And is available only thru a dealership. If the van is still starting odds are the ECU is not gone but can blow if it keeps shorting out which is what happens after it stops starting. I'm going to start with the crank sensor I'll let you know how I make out
