1997 Chrysler Sebring Idles poorly, stalls at low end, runs
Engine Performance problem
1997 Chrysler Sebring 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 135,00 miles
I have replaced several items, i.e. idle control motor, plus, wires, cap and rotor. I have also replaced the idle temp sensor, the EGR. We now have all the codes cleared, but the problem persists. I had a shop do a diagnostc scam and they tell me that #5 cylinder is not firing and possibly the distributor needs replaced. Any thoughts?

Check to see (listen) if the #5 injector is firing. If not, first make sure the connector/wiring is ok. If so, then replace that injector.
If it is firing, do a balance/drop test for that injector. It could be clogged or just bad.
