Car runs great except for an occasional revving of the engine when driving, any ideas?

I've had my 02 since it came out, normally the revving or high idle usually happens when the pcv valve is bad on it, mine was cracked and the idle changed when I was driving, sometimes even when I stopped and what cut off the engine. Cheap part too, like 2 bucks. Easy fix, if that's what it is, not sure what else it could be. If it turned out to be something different let me know.

Thanks,

Anthony

Hi Anthony,

my problem was the tps sensor, wish it was the pcv valve. Seems to be running fine now. Thanks for the input.
