Took my PT in today for a constant thumping I can hear and feel in the gas pedal coming from the right tire it seems worse at speeds of 20+mph. Mechanic said it was the tie rod so I replaced it but that only seemed to make it worse. Also relaced front tires. Now there is a cracking sound as if something is perhaps hitting metal on metal when going over bumps. Trying to keep my car safe and not go broke doing it. Any ideas would be great.
Thank you!

I am on my way back to the shop in hopes I am now armed with enough info to get the job fixed correctly and entirely. This is my first time using this service and if it works out you can bet I will be back and advise my friends about the site.
Again I really appreciate your help and have a great day!
