2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4 cyl

We recently found the head on our 2001 PT cruiser was warped and needed to be replaced. Upon purchasing and having the new head readied for being the replacement we found that we had been sold a 2002 head. This was discovered when we saw an oil leak onto the exhaust manifold. Per Chrysler in 2002 the head had been redesigned and the oil passage was in a different location. Can this be made to work on our 2001 engine?

Sorry, but no, this won't work. But all is not lost. Whoever sold/ordered you that wrong head is certainly liable for their mistake.

Demand that this be remedied at their expense, or take them to court. That shop/retailer won't want to go through that legal process. If they do, and so long as you kept all of your receipts/documentation, any judge will definitely side with you.
