I am new to cars but do not want to be charged for something I can fix at home. My car is a 1994 Cheverolet Cavalier and it has more miles on it than I even can remember. It was running fine till yesterday when I took a diip, I did not know was there, a little too quick and scrapped the bottom. Now, especially if I am backing up, my brakes when I step on them go on and then skip and I have to hit harder to have them stop me. I didnèt know if this was an ABS thing or if it was a problem steming from the bump I took.
