1989 Chrysler New Yorker engine fan does not cycle off

Electrical problem
1989 Chrysler New Yorker 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 80000 miles

The engine fan does not cycle off when the engine is turned off, and runs until the battery drains and dies. The fan runs for a period of hours, and I can't get it to turn off at all!
