1998 Chrysler Neon sudden lack of power

Engine Performance problem
1998 Chrysler Neon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 108000 miles

this has only just statred to happen but after the long journey me and my family took from the uk to france and back again my car developed a lack of power,could not get it above 2000 revs and 50 mph.... felt like a possilby coil pack break down. after letting the car cool down for a while it was ok .... then it started to happen again....check for blink codes and found code 37 but i can not see anything to do with this fault code would cause this problem...many thanks any suggestions????

Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.
