1994 Chrysler LHS Removing Starter

Engine Mechanical problem
1994 Chrysler LHS 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles

my brother and i have removed the bolts to the starter on my 94 LHS, but we cant seem to remove the starter, like there is not enough space to yank it out of there. is there something im doing wrong , or do i have to remove other parts... the guy at the junk yard sold me a 99 intrepid starter will that work, he said it will, but he also said he doesnt know much about cars.

3.5 engine, you'll need to remove the motor mount bolt and raise the engine and also remove the motor mount too,
