Transmission shuts down in summer
1994 chrysler concorde 74,000 miles 3.5 liter
after many frequent stops in the summer months the tranmission shuts down.It never happens any other time of the year, Car is running cool and problem appears only after many short stops five or ten minutes each in 80 to 90 degrees temperature.Turn off the engine and sit for 15 or not more that 30 minutes and everything returns to normal. Drive without making frequent stops and the trouble never reappears.
