First i'd like to say I don't think your car has a V8 engine. You might want to double check. It should have either a 3.3L or 3.5L V6. Just for future reference. As for the wiring harness, there are more than one. A harness is a group of wires banded together with either electrical tape or split wire loom or both. Wire loom is the black (usually black) ribbed plastic cover that holds all the wires in a group. At some point along the harness, a wire or set of wires break off from the harness and routed to it's proper connection. On an engine wiring harness some wires will lead to the fuel injectors. Others lead to all kinds of sensors as well as other accessories etc. There's another harness that runs under you instrument panel (dashboard) with wires that are routed to your fuel gauge, heater and other accessories inside the vehicle. Most harnesses contain many wires and may be confusing to an inexperienced person. Sorry, I get long winded sometimes!
