When you start the car the check engine light will not come on at all. I am unable to do a key check to find any problems because it won't come on. The car has a manufacture car alarm on it. I never installed one on it. For some reason the alarm won't go on at all. I can have the car locked up and rock it, try to open the handle but the alarm won't sound. Are the two things connected someway where I have to clear a memory for it or can u suggest what I can do? The car has a new computer and pretty much rebuilt the engine etc on the car this year. I have sunk alot of money into it and this is the only thing left to work out. Thanks for any suggestions or if you need more detail on what it is doing or question me back till I can figure it out please feel free.

They could be related but its unlikely. Is the dummy light burntout? With the alarm, is your siren hooked up?

I don't think the dummy light went out. The siren is still connected, the check engine was working but seemed to stop working instantly. What would make the siren not sound if I never disconnected anything? I have the actron tool and can not get that to even work by hooking it up under the hood.
