1997 Chrysler Cirrus Will only blow air on highest level

My heater/air conditioner will only work on the maximum setting - either cold or hot air blowing out - you cant get anything at all unless its in the maximum setting. What could this be? Its very noisy and uncomfortable.

Most likley you have a bad blower motor resistor. Have it checked. The highest power does not go thru the resistor and the reason it still works.

The resistor pack in the blower motor burned out. It happened to me. The resistors are current limiters which only allow so much juice to pass. The pack has burned out. Its a simple fix but I found it a pain to get to it.
