BALLAST RESISTOR LOCATION

I'm trying to find the location of the coil ballast resistor on a 1988 dodge aries 2.2l with TBI with 147000 miles. It is not in the engine compartment! I'm trying to solve a stalling problem and have replaced all the usual suspects. Original coil was mopar #4176009 which requires an external resistor. Also, is there a cheap way of checking the fuel presure without fancy equipment?

The first thing is, have you checked the Computer Codes on the car? What codes is it giving you?
