2004 Chevy Venture Radio/CD Removal or repair

My CD player is broken I need to remove it to repair it or replace it. How do I get it out? How can I remove trim around it? It seems I also need to remove cup holder (ashtray) but I can't figure that out either.

The cup holder does need to come out. I think the exploded views will help.
