2003 Chevy Venture Power windows

Electrical problem
2003 Chevy Venture 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles

My passenger side window is stuck in the open position. Neither the driver's side or passenger's side window switch will close the window. I pulled out the 30 amp relay/fuse but don't know how to check it. Plugged it back in and tried again...nothing. Driver's window works but is very sluggish. Only goes up a bit at a time.

Since the driver's and passenger's side windows are controlled by the same fuse and relays, if the drivers' side wokrs; all be it slowly, it is safe to assume that the fuse and relay are working properly. However to be sure, Check the fuse with a test light, the relay is a bit harder. however, techs sometimes cut their work short by holding their hand on the relay as they activated the window switch. The relay should click and if you feel that click, basically it's working.

Remove the passenger's side door panel to gain access to the power window motor. use a test light to check for power to the motor when the switch is activated in the up and then the down directions (do this with both the drivers's and passenger side window switches). If the test light shows power to the motors in both directions, replace the window motor. If you're not getting power from one of the switches, replace the switch.
If no power from either switch, trace the switch wires to find the short or open in the circuit.

Also, you can remove the motor, push the window all of the way up and then replace the motor. (just in case it rains : )
