I have had the same problem. OK what you can try to do (this is going to sound weird) have someone push on the brake pedal while you look at your brake lights. Chances are you have a brake light out. I forget how the mechanic explained it to me but basically your cruise is grounded too or somehow is related to the brake lights. I had all my tail lights working but when I pushed on the brake they didnt work I had some bulbs bad. Sure as heck when I replaced my brake bulbs cruise started working again. I hope that helps you

Thanks for the input. I did check. And did not have brake lights. But the bulbs look good. We wiggle them a little and they work then when we put the light housing all back together not working. I will try new bulbs anyway. Just to see. Thanks alot for letting me know.

I cant remember if they were my top or my bottom brake bulbs but I had a discoloration of the plastic base so where when you buy new bulbs the connecctor is black I had a faded almost brown one on both sides not sure if it had to do with moistsure or what, but they looked good other then that, I bought new bulbs and now it is all good, sorry I didnt say that earlier

Thank you so much. I get paid tomorrow so I will try that and see if it works. I did not notice any discoloring but I am just going to change them anyway. I will let you know how it turns out. Thanks again so much. I did not know where to turn I think I might like this site after all.

I can not tell you how happy I am that you gave me this info. I have not changed the lights yet. But will do so this morning. But after we messed with the lights and one of them was working. It did fix the problem. I tried it out this morning just to see. And sure enough it worked. So I will go to the part store and go ahead and change the bulbs. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your help. It is crazy how such a little thing can affect things. I also have a friend that has the same van and she was also wondering why hers does not work. Come to find out she has no brake lights either. So we get two fixes for the price of one. Thanks a bunch. Have a great weekend.

One thing you might want to consider is the lamp assembly (where the bulbs plug into). These do fail often and will cause alot of problems
