Hello I have a 1980 chevy motor home class c van front end. when I park it battery acid leaks out and is causing corrosion. My question is what is the regular voltage for something like that? when off, and when idleing? I checked and when off it was 13 to 14. When running it jumped to 28-30. I run a power converter but I dont think thats causing the problem its only a 400 watt converter Is my alternator over charging? thank you
