Trailer wiring harness
I have a 1997 Chev K10 Z71 4x4. I am having a problem hooking up the wiring to tow a camper. My problem is that the wire colors do not match the color coding of my trailer. I would like to know what each color of wire on the truck side is for. The color of wires that I have on the truck side are White, Brown, yellow, orange, blue, Lite green and dark green. On the 7 prong plug of the trailer side I have White, brown,blue, red, black, green and yellow

Well to simplify your problem, you can buy some B&W Hitches which do not need you to interfere with your cars wiring system. The hitches are installed in the trunk bed. Once installed you can even remove and have your trunk go back to normal.
