Overheating with themostate
I have a 1989 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 Pickup with a 350cid V8 TBI
My 350cid TBI engine overheats when I install a thermostate. I installed a new radiator, radiatorcap, waterpump, thermostate and steel hoses.
The engine still overheats. Took the truck to a local garage and had them test it for blown gasket. They told me that it was ok.
What can be te reason for this problem? Without the thermostate, the truck runs fine. I have used the truck every day without the thermostate now for 3 moths, no problems!!!
If it is a flow problem, it must be inside the engine... If so, what can do this? Is it a sensor problem? Help me out here, I am desperate! I am living in Norway, and in 3 monts the vinter starts.....
