2001 Chevy Truck manual fan removal from water pump

How do you remove the manual clutch fan from the water pump to replace fan blade?

Hello and thanks for donating!

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the radiator shroud.
Locate the yellow dot on the fan clutch hub and matchmark the water pump pulley.
Remove the drive belt, if necessary.
Remove the fan clutch-to-water pump pulley nuts and lift out the fan/clutch assembly.
Remove the fan clutch bolts and separate the fan from the clutch.

To install:

Install the fan on the fan clutch and tighten the bolts to 18 ft. Lbs. (24 Nm).
Position the fan/clutch assembly on the water pump pulley so that the reference marks on each hub align. Tighten the nuts to 18 ft. Lbs. (24 Nm).
Install the fan shroud.
Connect the battery cable.
