Truck will try to start but then dies?

My truck was running fine then I went out to start it and it will start for a sec and then die. I can hear the fuel pump running when the key is in the alt position. It acts like its not getting any fuel. Thanks in advance for the help

Hi natisdad, Welcome to 2carpros

Check the fuel pressure if its 60-66 psi and also test the fuel pump. 9 times out of ten it will be the fuel pump even though you can hear it running it loses pressure, here are the instructions on how to fix the problem and a guide that can help as well.
