Chevy blazer 102000 knocking noise(piston?)
Lately my blazer has started making a knocking noise. I have payed close attention and I think it is one of the pistons. One time the knocking lasted for about 10 minutes and as i was accelerating slowly i can hear the knocking get louder. But usually the knocking lasts until the engine starts getting warm which is about 1-2 minutes. Is there any way of getting rid of the knocking noise?

if that is whats knocking , it may be a piston slap which can be fixed by replacing the piston in question , but it is alot of work for one
