1993 Chevy Truck BAD MISS/BACKFIRE THROUGH INTAKE
Engine Performance problem
1993 Chevy Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 300,00 miles
I have tried setting the timing on my 93 Z71. I use the recommended method of unplugging the wire in the junction block and setting it to 0deg, or tdc, and when I plug the lead back in my timing jumps to about 35 or 40 deg, btdc and stays there, I have replaced the MAP,TPS, and IAC sensors as well as cap/rotor, plugs/wires, coil, injectors, fuel filter, and distributor, still no help

Are you sure you got the right timing mark? My truck has two timing marks.
