I HAVE A 1987 CHEVY CELEBRITY 4 CYCL. WITH 220,586 MILES ON IT. THE TIMING GEARS HAVE SOUNDED A BIT ROUGH FOR A WHILE, BUT I'VE DROVE IT FOR OVER 60,000 MILES WITH THIS PROBLEM. ONE DAY WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD I TURNED ON THE DEFROST AND THE WHOLE CAR SHUT DOWN. I TOOK OUT THE ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY, HAD THEM BOTH TESTED. THE ALTERNATOR WAS FINE, THE BATTERY WAS LOW BUT GOOD. MY SERPENTINE BELT IS WORN AND CRACKED, BUT SEEMS TO WORK. I DO HAVE POWER, BECAUSE I HAVE LIGHTS AND RADIO. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT'S WRONG?
