How do you replace water pump

Drain the coolant.
Remove the fan and shroud.
Remove the drive belt.
Using the J41240, secure the water pump pulley and remove the water pump pulley bolts.
Remove the J41240.
Remove the water pump pulley.

Loosen and remove the water pump bolts.
Remove the water pump.
Clean and inspect the water pump.
Discard and replace the gasket.
Installation Procedure

Install a new water pump gasket. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the water pump and secure the water pump with the bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) .

Install the water pump pulley.
Install the water pump pulley bolts.
Using the J 41240, secure the water pump pulley while tightening the water pump pulley bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) .
Remove the J41240.
Install the drive belt.
Install the fan and the shroud.
Fill the cooling system with the specified coolant and concentration.
Inspect for leaks.
