2002 Chevy Trailblazer low beam headlight failure

2002 Chevy Trailblazer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 40000 miles
Low beam headlights faill after a few minutes of use. Hi beams are OK. After a short cooling down period they come on again and then fail a short time later.

Try switching the HDM relay with the fan relay beside it. If the resolves the problem replace the relay. This seems to have resolved the problem for me.
