1999 Blazer A/C

1999 Blazer 102000 miles. The A/C on my blazer has gone out, and my mechanic told me it needs a new compressor as well as freon. How much should I expect to pay for work like this?

I would guess around $750. Unless you plan on doing some or all of the work. Your mechanic should give you an estimate before he starts working.
