When I am driving and get on the gas you can smell a sweet smell like coolant. When you are going down the freeway with the windows up, and you crack a window it gets hotter than hell in there and the windows fog up. Car has ice cold ac and hot heat in the winter. Floor boards are dry, and there is no type os smoke or steam comming out of the vents. Is this my heater core or what? How can I check?

I would suspect a faulty heater core, yes. You should try bypassing the heater core. Disconnect the two hoses at the firewall and place a third piece of hosing in between them to make a "U" shape and bypass the heater core. If the fog and sweet smell of the coolant disappears with the heater core bypassed, you know for sure it is at fault.
