2004 Chevy Tahoe V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 97500 miles
when the engine is idling or running at low rpm's (1-3) the power steering and power brakes loose the "power" and becme manual. However during higher rpm's the power steering and power brakes are normal....
what can be done ????

Hello, does your vehicle have the hydro-boost system? On this system, the power steering pump supplies hydraulic pressure for both the brakes and steering. I don't know if you need a new pump? I have heard of using a smaller pulley on the power steering pump to speed up pump rpms at lower speeds. Maybe your local front-end shop can point you in the correct direction.
