Thank you for the donation.
The fuel pressure regulator is attached to the fuel rail on engine.
The pressure regulator is to maintain the required fuel pressure at all times whereas excessive fuel is returned to the fuel tank. A vacumn hose is attached to the pressure regulator to reduce the fuel pressure at idling or when vacumn in the manifold is high.
Apart from the pressure regulator, the fuel injectors are part of the fuel system at engine side.
